Henry IV, Parts I & 2

The theatre company of which I am a member, The Actors Shakespeare Project, is opening Henry IV, Parts One AND Two, running in rep.  It's a HUGE project for the company, and I'm very excited to see the shows!

Here's all the info:

The Coveted Crown: Henry IV, Parts 1 & 2with Prologue & Epilogue from Richard II & Henry V
by William Shakespeare
Directed by Patrick Swanson
September 29 - November 21
Midway Studios
15 Channel Center Street

South Boston
Tickets:  866-811-4111

Honor was a tangible quality to the Elizabethans. You either had it, were losing it, or were trying to achieve it. ASP's The Coveted Crown explores a world in flux as King Henry IV questions his own legitimacy after deposing Richard II. The beloved Falstaff is a huge man with a talent for naming the absurd. And Hal, a prince with a partying problem & hidden ambition, is torn between their two worlds. Family dynamics, comedy, and fights to the death: a whole lot of mash-up around a little round crown.
